Thread: Gold membership really worth it?

So is it really worth it for Gold Membership? I never really cared much about playing Xbox games online but lately it seems all the really cool features on the xbox require Gold.

Twitter, youtube, IE browser, etc....

I think it is worth it for those features, as you mentioned. I wouldn't know what to do with my Xbox if I didn't have access to all the apps. Gaming is only a small part of my Xbox 360 usage. I say you should get it if you plan to use the apps; sometimes you can find deals!

I been thinking about it also. Grand scheme of things I'm already paying for an online game I don't play so hard to justify the expense for something I will rarely use....

It's pretty much worth it. I know because I don't have one.

What do you do? Just play locally and don't use any of the other services? Use xbox only for gaming?
